In Memory of Kevin Ely
The CA community suffered a loss this month with the passing of our colleague, Kevin Ely

From David Druley:
It is with profound sadness that I share with you that our colleague, Kevin Ely, passed away on June 18th. Kevin had been with Cambridge for two decades and was a Managing Director on our Public Equities Research team.
If you spent any time working alongside Kevin, you know he possessed a deep love of investing, provided incredibly valuable insights on active management and trends in the industry, and never shied away from being bold in his approach to the kind of productive debate that led to better outcomes for the firm and our clients. Over his many years with us, Kevin touched many with his warmth, wit, and sunny disposition. He was talented, kind, and precisely the kind of colleague that makes CA an enjoyable and rewarding place to come to work each day.
Kevin will be remembered as collaborative, friendly, and generous with his time and knowledge. I will miss him, and I know many around our global community feel the same. We have launched a memorial page on our internal website so we can remember and celebrate Kevin as a community. These memories will be shared with his family. You can contribute to this memorial by emailing [email protected].
Know that we are working to support Kevin’s wife, Rebecca, and his two sons during this difficult time, as well as supporting our colleagues who are struggling to process the loss of a beloved colleague.
This is a reminder of the value of being kind to one another and to ourselves. I wish this for our valued alumni community as well.
David
